Drugs in the country : 800 000 viewers on France 5

Frédéric Ploquin’s documentary attracted 800,000 viewers for its broadcast on France 5. The film is an edifying investigation into drug trafficking in the French countryside.

Record cocaine seizures in Normandy, cannabis farms in the middle of the Beauce, heroin trafficking networks in the forests of Haute-Savoie: highly localized for almost 30 years, the drug market has now conquered every corner of France. Narcotics are on sale everywhere, including in medium-sized towns and the most remote rural areas.

If you missed it, it’s on replay here.

Telerama and Paris Match are talking about it.
