The 16th edition of the Top 100 documentary/factual production companies (“The Global 100”) remains largely dominated by the Anglo-Saxons, more specifically the USA, English-speaking Canada and the UK: these territories leave only twelve places for the “rest of the world”, according to the ranking published by Realscreen magazine on Tuesday April 5.
Four of these are occupied by another English-speaking country, Australia, while Europe takes six. Two French companies are ranked, ZED (Manuel Catteau, Zanskar, les promesses de l’hiver for Arte), for the 4th time, with an “honorable mention”, and Pernel Media .
